The Cougars first opponent for the 2010 ACHA Division III nationals was the University of Florida Gators. After a rough first period, the Cougars kicked their game into high gear and came up with a big win to start off the national tournament. Keep the momentum going and good luck Cougars! Your College of the Canyons hockey team is off to Ft. Meyers Florida to compete in the ACHA Division III National Championships. C.O.C. will be playing against the top sixteen teams in the nation. The Cougars have earned a number one seed in Pool B which includes schools such as: Saginaw Valley State University (2008-2009 National Champions), Robert Morris University, and the University of Florida. The Cougars plan on bringing home a national championship title! Be sure to keep up with all the action by logging onto FastHockey.com and watching your Cougars live over the internet! FINALS
The Cougars will be heading to Tahoe this Friday to attend the PCHA championship tournament. C.O.C. is looking to bring home the Adam's cup for a second straight year. The first game is this Saturday at 5:15pm. All games will be streaming over the internet via Audio Sports Online. Good luck Cougars!!! |

In an exciting back-and-forth game early Sunday morning, the Cougars came out on top over the University of Colorado Buffaloes. It was a tight, hard-fought game for both teams. Colorado, coming off a win over Fresno, brought their "A" game to Santa Clarita and gave the Cougars a run for their money. C.O.C. sealed the game late in the third with two quick goals, right after the C.O.C. goalie stood on his head and saved ten shots in under a minute. As the last buzzer rang, the Cougars were ahead 9 - 7. Excellent showing Cougars! Next week, Fresno State is headed over the grapevine to take on your College of the Canyons Cougars. Don't miss it! |
