The Cougars started out slow Friday night, but came back strong to finish off Sacramento State with a score of six to three. C.O.C. stood tall when Sacramento tried to rally back in the second period scoring two goals quickly. After a pep talk during the ice cut between the second and third periods, the Cougars came out extremely motivated and scored two more unanswered goals. C.O.C. out-skated Sacramento for the win. The shots were in favor of the Cougars, 62 - 12. Congratulations goes out to the Cougars! Next week they face Southern Florida at 7:30pm. Good luck and see you there! |

College of the Canyons vs. California State University - Northridge vs.  The first home game of the season against California State University – Northridge (Hometown Rivals) is taking place this Friday! Coming back from a close game with a Division II school (San Diego State University), the Cougars are looking to redeem themselves at home. This home-opener should prove to be an exciting and emotional display of hockey. You will not want to miss it! The action begins at 9:15pm at the Ice Station. See you there!!! |

The time has come. The waiting is over. Hockey season officially begins tonight. The Cougars are traveling to San Diego tonight to play the San Diego State University Aztec's. This is the Aztec's home opener and is sure to be a great game. Monday, August 24th 2009 C.O.C. is holding it's first practice/try-out tomorrow! The first practice/try-out isTuesday at 10:15PM and THURSDAY at 10:00PM. These are mandatory. Turn-out should be huge. Arrive early! See you there Cougars! |
