The Cougars traveled North this weekend to take on the Santa Clara Broncos, the UC Davis Aggies, and Sacramento State. They are coming home with three wins under their belts.  The Cougars overcame the Broncos by a score of 10 to 8, scoring five goals in the second period.  Santa Clara came rushing back after a major penalty was assigned, as well as over ten penalties in the third period alone.  It was almost like the Broncos had eight players on the ice, two with orange stripes on the arms.  Faced with this adversity, COC kept their heads and pushed through to the buzzer.  COC defeated UC Davis by a score of 6 to 2, with some backup players filling some slots.  COC has also defeated Sacramento State 9 - 8.      

COC continues with undefeated in Division 3 play, as well as wins against Division 2 teams. With the first ranking ending today, COC is looking excellent, surely to be placed at or near the top. Go Cougars!
